Delicious Ferrero Rocher macarons combining the elegance of French macarons with the rich flavors of Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
Ingredients
- Almond Flour: 120 g
- Powdered Sugar: 120 g
- Egg Whites: 100 g (about 3 large eggs)
- Granulated Sugar: 30 g
- Cocoa Powder: 30 g
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Dark Chocolate: 100 g
- Heavy Cream: 100 ml
- Whole Hazelnuts: 12 pieces
- Crushed Hazelnuts: For garnish
Instructions
- Sift together almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder in a bowl.
- Whip egg whites with a pinch of salt until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the whipped egg whites.
- Pipe small circles onto a lined baking sheet and let them rest for 30-60 minutes.
- Bake the macarons at 150°C (300°F) for 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the chocolate ganache by heating heavy cream and pouring it over chopped dark chocolate.
- Once the macaron shells are cool, pair them and pipe ganache onto one shell, then sandwich with the other.
- Top with a whole hazelnut and sprinkle crushed hazelnuts around the plate.
- Allow assembled macarons to rest for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
