Delicious Ferrero Rocher macarons combining the elegance of French macarons with the rich flavors of Ferrero Rocher chocolates.


Ingredients

  • Almond Flour: 120 g
  • Powdered Sugar: 120 g
  • Egg Whites: 100 g (about 3 large eggs)
  • Granulated Sugar: 30 g
  • Cocoa Powder: 30 g
  • Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Dark Chocolate: 100 g
  • Heavy Cream: 100 ml
  • Whole Hazelnuts: 12 pieces
  • Crushed Hazelnuts: For garnish

Instructions

  1. Sift together almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder in a bowl.
  2. Whip egg whites with a pinch of salt until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the whipped egg whites.
  4. Pipe small circles onto a lined baking sheet and let them rest for 30-60 minutes.
  5. Bake the macarons at 150°C (300°F) for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Prepare the chocolate ganache by heating heavy cream and pouring it over chopped dark chocolate.
  7. Once the macaron shells are cool, pair them and pipe ganache onto one shell, then sandwich with the other.
  8. Top with a whole hazelnut and sprinkle crushed hazelnuts around the plate.
  9. Allow assembled macarons to rest for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
