Ingredients
- Seitan – 400 grams
- Soy sauce – 1/4 cup (60 ml)
- Brown sugar – 2 tablespoons (30 grams)
- Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- Fresh ginger – 1 tablespoon, grated
- Sesame oil – 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
- Green onions – 4, chopped
- Sesame seeds – 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Prepare the seitan by slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
- Make the teriyaki sauce by combining soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl and whisking until the sugar dissolves.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the sliced seitan for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the cooked seitan and stir well, allowing it to simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken.
