Description

A fun and delightful dessert that brings joy to any gathering, featuring layers of creamy chocolate pudding, crunchy Oreo cookies, and colorful gummy worms.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 cup gummy worms
  • 1/2 cup pastel sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate pudding by whisking together the pudding mix and milk in a medium bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. In a separate large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Fold in the whipped topping gently.
  3. In a large serving dish, spread half of the chocolate pudding mixture evenly across the bottom.
  4. Add half of the creamy filling on top of the pudding layer and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle half of the crushed Oreo cookies over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining chocolate pudding, followed by the rest of the cream cheese mixture, and top with the remaining crushed Oreos.
  7. Scatter gummy worms and pastel sprinkles on top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use high-quality chocolate pudding mix for the best flavor.
  • Whole milk is recommended for a creamier texture.
  • Store leftovers tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Add gummy worms and sprinkles just before serving for freshness.
