A quick and easy dump and bake meatball casserole that combines frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, and pasta for a comforting meal.

- 500 grams (1 lb) frozen meatballs
- 500 grams (about 4 cups) marinara sauce
- 250 grams (about 2 cups) uncooked pasta
- 300 grams (about 3 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 50 grams (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Spread the frozen meatballs evenly in a large baking dish (about 9×13 inches).
- Add the uncooked pasta over the meatballs.
- In a separate bowl, mix the marinara sauce with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, adding water if necessary, then pour over the meatballs and pasta.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it sit for a few minutes, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve warm.

- Choose your favorite type of meatballs (beef, turkey, or chicken).
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
- For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free pasta and ensure meatballs and sauce are gluten-free.
