Ingredients

- 2 large potatoes, grated
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and grate the potatoes.
- Soak grated potatoes in cold water for 10 minutes.
- Drain and pat dry with a clean towel.
- In a bowl, mix grated potatoes, onion, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the potato mixture and flatten it with a spatula.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip and cook the other side for another 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the skillet.
- You can use a food processor to grate potatoes.
