  • Sliced almonds: 1/2 cup (about 50 g)
  • Granulated sugar: 3/4 cup (about 150 g)
  • Unsalted butter: 1/2 cup (113 g), softened
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon (5 ml)
  • Egg whites: 2 large
  • Salt: a pinch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter and granulated sugar, and beat until light and fluffy. Add egg whites and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gradually mix in almond flour and a pinch of salt until a slightly sticky dough forms.
