Description
Crispy air fryer tostones made from green plantains.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 green plantains
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil spray
Instructions
- Peel the plantains and cut them into 1-inch thick slices.
- Soak the slices in salted water for 10 minutes.
- Drain and pat the slices dry with a paper towel.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.
- Arrange the plantain slices in the basket without overlapping.
- Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the slices and flatten them using a flat surface.
- Return the flattened slices to the air fryer and spray with oil.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.

- Adjust salt according to your taste.
- Ensure the slices are not overcrowded in the air fryer.
