- Granulated sugar: 1 cup (200 g)
- Brown sugar: ½ cup (100 g), packed
- Large eggs: 2
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips: 1 cup (175 g)
- Candy eyes: 1 cup (about 100 pieces)
- Gummy worms: 1 cup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prep your ingredients.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Drop rounded balls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers look soft.

- While still warm, press candy eyes and gummy worms into the tops of the cookies.
