Ingredients
- Salmon fillets: 4 pieces (about 6 oz each)
- Heavy cream: 1 cup (240 ml)
- Fresh lemon juice: 2 tablespoons (about 1 lemon)
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
- Fresh dill: 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: to taste
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Prepare the salmon by patting it dry and seasoning with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream and fresh lemon juice to the skillet, stirring to combine, and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Place seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add chopped dill and parsley to the sauce, simmer for 2-3 minutes, and adjust seasoning.
- Return the salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and let simmer for an additional minute before serving.
