- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooked rice until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add fresh herbs.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
