  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and blanch the washed and chopped spinach for about 2 minutes until it wilts. Drain and rinse under cold water, then squeeze out excess water.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, add the finely chopped onion, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
