- Active dry yeast: 2 teaspoons (7 grams)
- Salt: 1 teaspoon (6 grams)
- Unsalted butter: 2 tablespoons (28 grams, melted)
- Warm water: 1 1/2 cups (360 ml, about 110°F or 43°C)
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.
- Prepare the dough by mixing warm water with sugar and yeast, then combine with flour and salt.
- Incorporate cranberries and walnuts into the dough.
- Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
- Let the shaped loaf rise for 30-45 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
