Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar, then add eggs one at a time and mix well. Add vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- While brownies cool, prepare the cookie dough layer by mixing cookie dough, brown sugar, flour, and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the cooled brownie base and spread gently.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cookie dough is set and lightly golden.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
