Description
Colored Peppermint Fudge is a vibrant, creamy treat made with white chocolate, peppermint, and swirled with colorful flair.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 tablespoons Marshmallow Fluff
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or extract
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Gel food coloring in black, pink, yellow, and teal
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- In a medium pot over low heat, melt the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, stirring occasionally until smooth.
- Add Marshmallow Fluff, butter, vanilla bean paste, and peppermint extract. Stir until fully blended and heated through.
- Divide the mixture evenly into four bowls. Add 4 drops of black food coloring to one, and 2 drops each of pink, yellow, and teal to the others. Stir each quickly to color.
- Spoon dollops of the colored fudge randomly into the prepared pan. Swirl gently with a toothpick or knife to create a marbled effect.
- Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or overnight until fully set.
- Lift the fudge out of the pan using parchment, cut into squares, and serve.
Notes
- Use low heat to avoid burning the chocolate.
- Adjust peppermint extract to taste for a stronger or milder flavor.
- Work quickly when swirling colors to prevent the fudge from setting too soon.
- Store with parchment between layers to avoid sticking.
