- 3 ripe bananas: About 1 ½ cups when mashed.
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: baking soda and salt.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures, folding in the flour until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
