Description

Cinnamon Roll Blondies combine buttery, cinnamon-infused blondies with a sweet cinnamon swirl and creamy cream cheese frosting for a rich, chewy treat.


Ingredients

  • For cream cheese frosting: 4 oz cream cheese (softened), ¼ cup unsalted butter (softened), 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk (or more)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar until smooth; stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time until creamy; avoid overbeating.
  4. Whisk flour, cinnamon, baking powder, salt in separate bowl.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients gently; do not overmix.
  6. Combine cinnamon and brown sugar for swirl.
  7. Pour half the batter into pan, sprinkle half cinnamon sugar, add remaining batter, then remaining cinnamon sugar.
  8. Swirl cinnamon sugar into batter with knife or toothpick.
  9. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean but moist.
  10. Prepare cream cheese frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, vanilla; gradually add powdered sugar and milk until desired consistency.
  11. Once blondies cool, spread frosting on top.
