Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 10×15 inch jelly roll pan and line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, beat eggs and granulated sugar until thick and pale.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Turn the cake onto a clean kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar.
  10. Roll the cake with the towel and let it cool.
  11. Whip the heavy cream and mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  12. Unroll the cooled cake, spread the whipped cream filling, and reroll it carefully.
  13. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  14. Decorate with sprinkles before serving.
