Ingredients

- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Eggs: 2 large
- Milk: 1 cup (240 ml)
- Vegetable oil: 1/2 cup (120 ml)
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips: 1 cup (175 g)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin tin.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold together, then add the chocolate chips.
- Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
