  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Milk: 1 cup (240 ml)
  • Vegetable oil: 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips: 1 cup (175 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin tin.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold together, then add the chocolate chips.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
