- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips, divided
- 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, cocoa powder, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, followed by the eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a small bowl, toss 1/3 of the mini chocolate chips with the flour. Fold them into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the cheesecake batter into the crust. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour. Remove from oven and allow to reach room temperature before refrigerating.
- Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Once chilled, remove from the springform pan and slice to serve.
Notes
- For best results, use ingredients at room temperature before starting.
- To avoid cracks, don’t overmix the batter.
- Let the cheesecake cool gradually to prevent cracking.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
