Ingredients
- Spaghetti: 200 grams
- Chicken Breast: 300 grams, thinly sliced
- Bell Pepper: 1, sliced
- Carrot: 1 medium, julienned
- Green Onions: 3, chopped
- Soy Sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger: 1 teaspoon, minced
- Sesame Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Sesame Seeds: 1 tablespoon, for garnish
- Salt and Pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by slicing it thinly and seasoning with salt and pepper. Optionally, marinate in soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for 30 minutes.
- Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving a small cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced bell pepper and julienned carrot to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender but crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, add the drained spaghetti, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Remove from heat, stir in chopped green onions, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Serve warm.
