Description
Chicken souvlaki is a Greek dish consisting of marinated chicken skewers grilled to perfection.

- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Pita bread for serving
- Vegetables for garnish (tomatoes, onions, lettuce)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken cubes to the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
- Serve with pita bread and garnish with vegetables.

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
- Serve with tzatziki sauce for dipping.
