  • Cheddar cheese: 150 grams, shredded (about 1.5 cups)
  • Mozzarella cheese: 150 grams, shredded (about 1.5 cups)
  • Heavy cream: 240 ml (about 1 cup)
  • Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste
  • Fresh herbs: (such as parsley or basil) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta, reserving about 1 cup of the cooking water, and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
