Description

A delightful and spooky treat perfect for Halloween or any fun gathering, combining rich fudge with playful candy eyes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (150 g) candy eyes
  • Optional: 1/2 cup (75 g) chopped nuts or sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients in one place.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Stir continuously until melted and glossy (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt. If using, fold in nuts or sprinkles.
  4. Pour the fudge mixture into a lined 8-inch square baking dish and smooth the top. Tap the dish to remove air bubbles.
  5. Let the fudge cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  6. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan and place it on a cutting board. Press candy eyes into the surface while still warm.
  7. Cut the fudge into thick, irregular squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • Refrigerate for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
