- 1 cup (240 ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (150 g) candy eyes
- Optional: 1/2 cup (75 g) chopped nuts or sprinkles
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients in one place.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Stir continuously until melted and glossy (about 5-7 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt. If using, fold in nuts or sprinkles.
- Pour the fudge mixture into a lined 8-inch square baking dish and smooth the top. Tap the dish to remove air bubbles.
- Let the fudge cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
- Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan and place it on a cutting board. Press candy eyes into the surface while still warm.
- Cut the fudge into thick, irregular squares and enjoy!

- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
- Refrigerate for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
- Thaw frozen fudge in the refrigerator overnight before enjoying.
