Ingredients

- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, combine sour cream and cream cheese.
- Add the caramelized onions to the mixture and blend well.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Serve with chips or vegetables.
- Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
