Description
A sweet treat made with layers of biscuit, caramel, and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 200g digestive biscuits
- 100g unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup golden syrup
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs.
- Mix the biscuit crumbs with melted butter and press into a lined baking tin.
- In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, brown sugar, and golden syrup. Stir over low heat until thickened.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the biscuit base and spread evenly.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Let it cool completely.
- Melt the dark chocolate and pour over the cooled caramel layer.
- Chill in the fridge until set, then cut into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be kept for up to one week.
- Feel free to use milk chocolate for a sweeter flavor.
