Description

Ingredients

  • 200g digestive biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup golden syrup
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs.
  3. Mix the biscuit crumbs with melted butter and press into a lined baking tin.
  4. In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, brown sugar, and golden syrup. Stir over low heat until thickened.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the biscuit base and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden.
  7. Let it cool completely.
  8. Melt the dark chocolate and pour over the cooled caramel layer.
  9. Chill in the fridge until set, then cut into squares.
