- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the dough by heating milk and butter, then mixing with yeast and sugar.
- Combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt in a bowl, then add the yeast mixture, eggs, and vanilla.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour.
- Make the caramel sauce by combining brown sugar, corn syrup, heavy cream, and butter in a saucepan.
- Assemble the sticky buns by rolling out the dough, spreading butter, and sprinkling with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut the rolled dough into pieces and place them in the baking dish over the caramel sauce.
- Let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow to cool slightly before inverting onto a serving platter and enjoy!
