Ingredients

- Additional ground cinnamon: 1 tablespoon (8 g)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the donut pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, and maple syrup, then mix with the dry ingredients.
- Fill each cavity of the donut pan about two-thirds full with the batter.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare the cinnamon sugar coating by mixing granulated sugar and additional ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
- Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
