Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup unsalted butter over medium heat, stirring frequently until it turns golden brown and gives off a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together room temperature butter, granulated sugar, and salt until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour until combined.
- Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan, ensuring an even layer. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
