- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking pan by greasing it lightly and lining the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat, then stir in the granulated sugar until well combined. Allow to cool slightly before adding the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in half of the fresh blueberries.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Once baked, let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before frosting and serving.
