Ingredients
- All-purpose flour: 2 cups (240 grams)
- Granulated sugar: 3/4 cup (150 grams)
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
- Cream cheese: 4 ounces (113 grams), softened
- Eggs: 2 large
- Milk: 1/2 cup (120 milliliters)
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Fresh blueberries: 1 cup (150 grams), rinsed and drained
- Butter: 1/4 cup (60 grams), melted, plus extra for greasing the muffin tin
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until creamy.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

- Use fresh or frozen blueberries without thawing.
