Ingredients

- Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup (divided)
- Milk: 1 cup (warm, about 110°F or 43°C)
- Unsalted butter: 1/2 cup (melted, plus extra for greasing)
- Eggs: 2 large
- Blueberries: 1 cup (fresh or frozen)
- Ground cinnamon: 2 teaspoons
- Ground nutmeg: 1/4 teaspoon
- Powdered sugar: 1 cup (for glaze)
- Water: 2 tablespoons (for glaze)
Instructions
- Prepare the dough by mixing warm milk with 1 tablespoon of sugar and sprinkling yeast over it. Let it sit until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, remaining sugar, and eggs. Add the yeast mixture and stir until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
- Prepare the blueberry filling by mixing blueberries, cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a small bowl.
- Punch down the dough, roll it out into a rectangle, spread melted butter, and sprinkle the blueberry mixture on top.
- Tightly roll the dough into a log and slice into 12 pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let the rolls rise for 30 minutes, then preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the icing by whisking powdered sugar and water until smooth. Drizzle over cooled rolls.
