Description

The Bloody Mary is a bold, savory cocktail made with tomato juice, vodka, spices, and garnishes, perfect for brunch or anytime refreshment.


Ingredients

  • Bloody Mary salt or kosher salt (for rimming)
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 4 oz tomato juice
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp horseradish
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • Celery stalks and olives (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Run a lemon wedge around the rim of a Collins glass. Dip the rim in Bloody Mary salt or kosher salt. Set aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine tomato juice, vodka, fresh lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt, black pepper, hot sauce, and kosher salt.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds, until chilled and mixed.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared glass.
  5. Garnish with a celery stalk, olives, and a lemon wedge. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust spice levels to your taste by modifying the amount of horseradish or hot sauce.
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for best flavor.
