Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch round cake pan by greasing it with butter and sprinkling flour inside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, ground cardamom, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the rose water, orange zest, and Greek yogurt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with the whole milk, mixing until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
