Description
The Basil Vodka Lemonade Cocktail is a refreshing summer drink combining the aromatic flavor of basil with the zesty zing of lemonade and vodka. It’s easy to make, vibrant, and perfect for gatherings or relaxing afternoons.

- 9 large basil leaves
- 4 oz vodka
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup lemonade
- Ice
- Seltzer
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Tear 5 basil leaves and place them in a jar. Add vodka, seal, shake, and refrigerate for 6–12 hours, shaking occasionally.
- Blend the remaining 4 basil leaves with sugar in a food processor to make basil sugar.
- Strain the infused vodka through a fine mesh strainer, pressing basil leaves for maximum flavor.
- Dip the rims of glasses in water, then in basil sugar to coat.
- Divide infused vodka among the glasses. Add 1/2 cup lemonade to each. Fill with ice and top with seltzer.
- Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.

- Use fresh basil for the best flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by adding or reducing sugar.
- Vodka infusion can be made in advance and stored up to 2 weeks.
