- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup banana pudding (prepared)
- 1 package ladyfingers (about 24 pieces)
- 1/4 cup milk (for dipping ladyfingers)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Optional: chocolate shavings or additional banana slices for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the banana pudding according to package instructions or homemade, and let it cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the banana pudding into the whipped cream mixture until well combined.
- Pour milk into a shallow dish and quickly dip each ladyfinger into the milk, then lay them in a single layer at the bottom of your serving dish.
- Spread half of the banana pudding mixture over the ladyfingers, then add a layer of sliced bananas.
- Repeat the process with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining banana pudding mixture.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder.
