- 1 3/4 cups cold milk
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 large bananas, thinly sliced
- 2 cups crushed Nilla wafers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix, cold milk, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Let thicken for about 10 minutes.
- Place a thin slice of banana at the bottom of each serving cup.
- Spoon a layer of pudding mixture over the banana slice.
- Add another layer of banana slices on top of the pudding.
- Sprinkle crushed Nilla wafers over the banana layer.
- Continue layering pudding and wafers to fill the cups, finishing with crushed wafers on top.
- Cover cups with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 5 hours or overnight.
- Remove from freezer about 10-15 minutes before serving to soften slightly.
Notes
- Use bananas that are ripe but still firm to avoid mushy texture.
- Toss banana slices with a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Do not microwave frozen pudding cups as it can alter texture and cause bananas to brown.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the freezer.
- Substitute milk with almond or coconut milk for a dairy-free option.
