Description
Balsamic roasted pork nuggets are delightful bite-sized pieces of pork tenderloin, marinated in a rich blend of balsamic vinegar, garlic, and herbs, perfect for a family dinner or as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- Pork tenderloin: 1 lb (450 g), cut into bite-sized nuggets.
- Balsamic vinegar: 1/4 cup (60 ml).
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced.
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons (30 ml).
- Fresh rosemary: 1 tablespoon, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried).
- Salt: 1 teaspoon.
- Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon.
- Honey: 1 tablespoon (15 g).
Instructions
- Prepare the pork by cutting the tenderloin into bite-sized nuggets and patting them dry.
- Marinate the pork by mixing balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, olive oil, chopped rosemary, salt, black pepper, and honey in a bowl. Coat the pork nuggets and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated pork nuggets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Let the pork rest for a couple of minutes before serving, garnished with fresh rosemary.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
- Do not exceed 24 hours of marination to avoid mushy texture.
- Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini during cooking for added nutrition.
- For a spicy twist, add crushed red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the marinade.
