Ingredients
- Chicken sausage: 4 links (about 12 oz)
- Brussels sprouts: 500 g
- Apples: 2 medium
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 3 cloves
- Fresh thyme: 1 tablespoon (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
- Salt: 1 teaspoon (to taste)
- Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (to taste)
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients: wash, trim, and halve the Brussels sprouts; core and slice the apples; mince the garlic.
- Arrange on the sheet pan: line a baking sheet with parchment paper, combine Brussels sprouts and apples in a bowl with olive oil, honey, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper, then spread on the sheet pan.
- Cook: preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and roast for 25-30 minutes, tossing halfway through.
- Serve: let cool for a few minutes and serve warm, garnished with fresh thyme or lemon juice if desired.
