Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Add sugar, salt, and oil to the mixture.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl and cover.
- Let it rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place in a greased loaf pan and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Store bread in an airtight container.
- Can be frozen for longer storage.
- For a richer flavor, add milk instead of water.
