Ingredients

- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon (plus extra for brushing)
- Fresh herbs: 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Optional ingredients: Grated cheese, diced vegetables, spices, Worcestershire sauce, mustard or ketchup
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine them without overmixing.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties, creating a small indentation in the center of each.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Brush the air fryer basket with olive oil and place the patties in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Check for doneness using a meat thermometer and adjust cooking time if necessary.
